Center for Diabetes, Thyroid & Endocrine Disorders
St. Luke’s Center for Diabetes, Thyroid and Endocrine Disorders is the country’s first and only hospital-based facilty, equipped to provide out-patient and in-patient complete diagnostic and therapeutic services for Diabetes, Thyroid and other Endocrine diseases. Its board certified Endocrinologists and competent ancillary personnel are complemented with state-of-the–art facilities to provide patients with excellent care.
Pediatric endocrinologists are available to handle endocrine problems occurring among health children. Our top-notch equipments are utilized to screen patients of endocrine disorders such as diabetes, metabolic disorders, cancer and hormonal problems. Endocrinologists work alongside physicians from other subspecialties such as ENT-HNS specialists, surgeons and nuclear medicine specialists to allow a comprehensive and multidisciplinary diagnosis and treatment. This is essential in identifying endocrine disorders involving hormonal imbalance (i.e. the glands producing too much or too little of the hormone).
The Center also offers dynamic tests and endocrine panels for pituitary adrenal, thyroid and gonadal/infertility disorders and Diabetes Mellitus. The Center also opened the first Insulin Pump Clinic in the Philippines. The Insulin Pump Clinic installs pumps and continuous glucose monitoring devices.
