Department of Medicine

The Department of Medicine is tasked with maintaining effectiveness in a multidisciplinary approach to assure quality patient management through its close coordination with other institutes, centers and departments.

The Department of Medicine offers specialized sections and facilities:

• Section of Nephrology which offers the Kidney Transplant Program, designed with a post-operative rehabilitation program for patients

• Renal Unit which offers comprehensive renal replacement therapy programs, along with percutaneous renal biopsy, and services such as the peritoneal hemodialysis and Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), an advanced form of dialysis for Acute Renal Failure(ARF) patients
